We're now award winning!!

At last night's (Thursday September 29) Suffolk Business Awards, taking place at Kesgrave Hall, we scooped the prestigious Innovation Award and Tom, our Founder, was also a finalist in Director of the Year awards too!

The Innovation Award, sponsored by the University of Suffolk, recognises ‘bold business models’ and ‘innovative products’ which deliver ‘dramatic results’.

The judging panel at last night’s awards ceremony, at Kesgrave Hall in Ipswich, were impressed by our journey so far, and how we're pushing the boundaries of the concept of the sharing economy - a peer-to-peer activity of acquiring, providing, or sharing goods and services. 

Founder Tom West, who boasts a background in innovation and start-ups, said: “We’re delighted to win this award at such an exciting time for RentMy.

“We are the first platform of its kind to allow people to make money from absolutely anything they own, and winning this award reflects our belief that now is the perfect time for people to think differently about the items they have at home, and realise that they can make money, help the environment and strengthen their community simply by renting out their belongings.
